The Success in Education Foundation is a public charity founded in August 2011 in collaboration with the Governor's Commission on Literacy. The commission's goal is to build good reading habits by challenging students to read every day to increase literacy and prepare them for post-secondary education.
The program currently has over 240 participating elementary schools, with approximately 165,000 students and 11,000 faculty and staff. The program provides a framework with tools for educators to help students, and incentives to motivate students to read every day.
